Well, this, and a multitude of other fabulous St. Patrick’s Day recipes that are just minutes away… You’ll find them at the end of this post! 😉

Remember when I told you that today’s post was sure to be EPIC?! Now you know why! A bunch of blogger friends and I have come together to create a virtual St. Patty’s Day Extravaganza! How ’bout that?

Directly following our Valentine’s Day Event, Lynn, from The Road To Honey, reached out and asked if we’d like to join forces once again. I responded as quickly as I could with a resounding YES! These round ups are always so mirthful and scrumptious!

Speaking of mirthful and scrumptious…

Chocolate Stout No-Churn Ice Cream?

Are you kidding me?

Chocolate Stout No-Churn Ice Cream with Homemade Toffee Crumble ciaochowbambina.com

Have you ever tried stout aka beer in your ice cream?

I realize at first thought you might be thinking, “Ummmm, no. Nope. No thank you, Annie.”

But this. Oh man you guys…

Let’s see, how do I describe it? It’s kind of like lifting a stone to discover a gorgeous new color and having to describe what you see. Difficult, right?

…I will do my best…

It is creamy and cold (of course it is, it’s ice cream), however, there are warming undertones of dark chocolate and coffee flavors.

Warming undertones of dark chocolate and coffee.

  • Undertones.
  • Dark chocolate.
  • Coffee.

Warming undertones in something that is creamy and cold is quite the sensory experience.

How’d I do?

And with the addition of Homemade Butter Toffee crumble…well, I just might be at a loss for words, again.

But, not for long…

This dessert will finish any meal on St. Patrick’s Day in fine fine fashion!

I always thought we were kindred souls(or at least kindred bellies) , Annie, but now I’m also convinced you can read my mind. Because how did you know ALL I want right now is a few cocktails and like 700 gallons of ice cream. BUT, not just any ‘ole ice cream. I need EPIC ice cream. Ice cream that will make me forget my woes. And only THIS ice cream will do!!!! Chocolate stout ice cream with homemade toffee?!?!?!?!?! Yes Yes Yes. AND you made it no churn because you know I don’t have an ice cream maker!? Stop it! I wish I could hug you right now for posting this ice cream… and then I’d steal a few bowls of this. Because how could I not, right?! <3 SO MUCH DELICIOUSNESS! Pinned of course! Cheers, my dear! XOXO

I don’t know if the males in my family would let me take some of their beer and make ice cream out of it. Perhaps I could sneak a bottle, then finish off the rest and get rid of the empty. That would probably be the best plan. I love the idea of the flavors. What a combination. I’m pinning! Have a great weekend. Abbracci!

Love the beer in ice cream idea. I have tried ice cream maybe with a beer to boot, but never in my ice-cream. Clever woman! I am thinking of a particular friend that would go nuts for this combination. Chocolate, brittle, and beer. Wonderful. Thanks for sharing!

Why, no, I haven’t had stout in my ice cream. Buuuuuut, if you say it’s good, then I know it will be! I was so looking forward to this recipe, Annie, and love that it is no churn. And all those crunchy bits form the toffee crumble! Oh, man, this is just awesome! I’ll take a double scoop. No, the whole batch please and thank you 😉 Pinned, of course. So fun collaborating and look forward to the next one 🙂 Happy Friday and have a wonderful weekend, my friend! XOXO
