Winter Brew & Other Holiday Favorites

Sweet Potato Casserole

With Thanksgiving just five short days away I thought it would be fun to revisit a few of my favorite holiday recipes as posted one very short year ago.

I had to kick it off with my dad’s Sweet Potato Casserole with Pecan Streusel. Not only is this a popular side-dish in our house, it was my most pinned recipe of 2013 and it continues to rock in 2014… which means…these sweet potatoes with their fancy streusel topping know what they’re doing!

Buttermilk Cornbread

Buttermilk Corn Bread with Cinnamon-Honey Butter is as sweet and comforting as you imagine it to be…

Jack Daniel's Warm Holiday Brew

Jack Daniel’s Warm Holiday Brew …. Enough said.

Cranberry Pecan Spread

And there’s nothing like this Cranberry Pecan Spread especially when paired with a nice little Cranberry Wine. I mean, can we have too much cranberry this time of year? That would be a no.

Have a happy weekend, friends!

If you like “the flavors” of Thanksgiving…you will love this spread. Especially the zing of the zest! 🙂
