Description

Veal with Fresh Herbs & Lemon is as easy as it comes and takes just minutes to prepare!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 3 plump cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 12 Tbsp. fresh basil, finely chopped
  • 12 Tbsp. flat leaf parsley, finely chopped
  • 12 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh thyme
  • 12 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh rosemary
  • 2 fresh chili peppers, thinly sliced
  • 1.5 lbs. veal scallopini
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, over medium heat, heat the olive oil.
  2. Add the garlic, herbs and peppers.
  3. Cook for 2 – 3 minutes, until garlic begins to soften.
  4. Turn up the heat to medium high, add veal to the pan and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Cook on each side for 2 – 3 minutes.
  6. When the veal is cooked, remove from the pan and squeeze lemon over top.
  7. Serve warm.
