Description

This Pumpkin Banana Bread with Chocolate Chips is quick to make and so delicious! The ultimate fall favorite!


Ingredients

Scale

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp. baking soda

2 tsp. pumpkin spice

2/3 cup sugar

1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

1/3 cup melted butter

2 eggs, whisked

1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree

3/4 cup mashed ripe bananas (2 small bananas)

1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts (plus more rough chopped for the top)

1/2 cup chocolate chips (plus more for topping)


Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 F.

Spray a 9×5 inch loaf pan with non-stick spray. Set aside.

In a large bowl, whisk the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, pumpkin spice, and sugar until incorporated.

Add vanilla, melted butter, eggs, pumpkin puree, and mashed bananas. Stir until combined.

Add finely chopped walnuts and chocolate chips. Stir again.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and top with additional walnuts and chocolate chips.

Bake for 50 minutes or until browned and toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean.

Cool on cooling rack.
