Need an easy appetizer for the holiday season? Cranberry Pecan Cracker Spread is the answer!!
Quick and easy, Cranberry Pecan Cracker Spread contains the fabulous flavors of Thanksgiving!
It’s perfect for office parties, holiday gatherings, or as a nice little nosh while you’re waiting for the turkey to roast and the football to begin.
I first had this appetizer at a neighborhood party many moons ago. My friend Karen brought it to share and I fell absolutely in love with it. This, on a nice hearty cracker with a glass of cranberry wine, a little Earth, Wind & Fire, maybe some dancing in the kitchen… It doesn’t get any better!
One of the quickest ways to get into the holiday spirit is to make something with orange, cranberry and cinnamon. Am I right? Are they not a perfect co-mingling of flavors? And who doesn’t love a nice cream cheese dip?
Cream cheese adapts so well and creates a great base for so many flavor combinations.
This one has the potential to become a holiday favorite!
I love the tartness of the berries, the crunch of the pecans, the warmth of the cinnamon, and the brightness of the orange.
Thanksgiving on a cracker!
And we’re not finished yet! I’ve joined forces with some talented blogger friends to provide you with a bevy of cranberry recipes! ‘Tis the season!! #yesyoucranberry

[…] The recipe was given to me by my good friend, Karen. Yep – the same Karen that gave us Concord Grape Pie. I know what you’re thinking – how lucky can one girl be? Karen is not only a wonderful friend and neighbor, she’s a fantastic cook; and don’t even get me started on her Christmas cookies! […]

Can you make it without the orange juice?
Annie says
Sure. I think it would be fun to play around with the flavors. Is there any other citrus you might like? Or maybe even apple juice? I don’t know for sure, but it might be worth a try. Good luck!
