And let’s face it – we’re always in need of at least one show-stopper!

Today’s post is in partnership with Martha Stewart Living and Boursin® Cheese. As always, all opinions are 100% my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that help make Ciao Chow Bambina possible.

When it comes to my holiday cheese platter, I like to include a wide variety of textures, colors and tastes.

Welcome, Boursin® Holiday Cheese Platter!

A few years ago, on a balmy Thanksgiving day {which in Upstate NY is pretty uncharacteristic} we cozied up on the patio in front of a fire while the turkey was roasting and the kids were having a competitive game of touch-football. While enjoying the friendly competition, Dom and I noshed on a mini Boursin® Cheese platter complemented by my favorite cranberry wine. On a small board we arranged a wheel of Boursin® Cheese, some fruit, pretty sure it was dried – figs and apricots, and some nuts, probably pecans. Mild tasting crackers served as the Boursin® vessel, and We. Had. Ourselves. A. Party!

I have not forgotten that moment. My favorite holiday. Sunshine. Everybody home. Cranberry wine. Boursin® Cheese. Boursin® Cheese. Boursin® Cheese. It has stayed with me all these years later.

It is no joke when I tell you, Boursin® Cheese does the job! It creates WOW-worthy experiences that you and your guests will not soon forget!

For this board I pulled out all the stops. Red grapes which are a sweet jammy complement to our herby creamy crumbly Boursin® Cheese, along with fresh berries and pomegranate seeds. I’ve sprinkled in some charcuterie – Italian meats that always hold a special place on my cheese board, fresh vegetables – cherry tomatoes, cured olives, mini kosher pickles, and nuts for some added crunch. I went with walnuts and pistachios this time. For our carby component – I personally love toasty bread aka crostini, but your favorite crackers will work just fine.

Here’s the thing about a Boursin® Cheese Board….you can’t go wrong!

Feel free to include as many of the following delicious items alongside this perfectly herbed creamy cheese:

  • Meat – Salami, Prosciutto, Pepperoni, Sopressata
  • Bread – Italian, Artisan, Baguette, Flatbread, Crackers, Grilled Crostini
  • Savory Complements – Kalamata Olives, Almonds, Roasted Red Peppers, Artichoke Hearts, Blistered Cherry Tomatoes
  • Sweet Complements – Grapes, Pears, Cherries, Figs, Berries
  • Finishers – Honey, Fruit Preserves, Spicy Mustard

Little makes me as happy as a cheese board. At any holiday or party, you’ll just find me camped out next to one, probably eating all the cheese before anyone else gets any. And I could easily make a meal out of your cheese board! It’s loaded with all the good stuff. Have a great week, Annie!

I could live on antipasti! The variety! The taste! So yummy. All I need is a sliced baguette or two to go along with it! In fact, my Honey always says not to make an entire meal — just antipasti. Oh, and wine of course. Beautiful spread!! xoxo
