- 1 pint heavy whipping cream
- 14 oz. sweetened condensed milk
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- Blueberry Sauce
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 1/4 cup sugar
- Juice from 1/2 lemon
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl add the heavy whipping cream and sweetened condensed milk.
- Using a hand mixer with a whisk attachment, whip until stiff peaks form.
- Fold in blueberries.
- Spoon ice cream in a freezer safe container, I used a loaf pan lined with parchment, and freeze overnight.
- For the sauce, combine blueberries, sugar and lemon juice in a medium saucepan.
- Over medium heat, cook down the berries for about five minutes, until a sauce is formed.
- Remove from heat and bring to room temperature.
- Spoon over ice cream when serving.
- Store sauce in the refrigerator.
