Ciao, my friends. ‘Ciao’ as in hello… and goodbye. This blog, which began as a hobby—a delicious creative outlet to share family stories and favorite recipes—turned into more than I could have ever imagined over the course of 13 years. And now, as I reflect on a ‘baker’s dozen’ years of Ciao Chow Bambina, I am moved and continually surprised by the abundance it has bestowed upon me.
I want to thank you all for visiting my kitchen, for pulling up a chair, and for sharing in the stories we’ve communed over throughout the years.
For some time, I’ve been gently letting go of the blog to allow for a softening of my life… leaning into the gift of no expectations of ‘outcome’ to experience life’s grandeur in all her beauty, at her own pace.
I have loved every minute of CCB. And it is in no small part thanks to you. Buon Appetito! ![]()

Annie,
You have made our lives richer by sharing your wonderful, thoughtful and heart warming stories. You have filled our bellies and our souls with your mouth watering dishes. As being the luckiest recipient of all, I have had the privilege of being by your side to experience the wonder of you for 40 years! I love you, Dominick
