Everyday Easy Green Salad works beautifully before or with your meal.
Ingredients
Scale
1 head red leaf lettuce
1 cup grape or cherry tomatoes, halved
3 Tbsp. olive oil
1 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
1 clove of garlic, minced
Shavings of Parmigiano, to taste
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, vinegar and minced garlic. Set aside.
Clean and tear the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place in a salad bowl along with the tomatoes.
Just before serving, pour the dressing on the lettuce and tomatoes. Mix well.
Top with Parmigiano shavings, salt and pepper.
