Caramelized Brussels Sprouts with Browned Butter Drizzle

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Brussels sprouts, cleaned, trimmed, halved
  • 23 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cracked black pepper
  • 4 Tbsp. salted butter
  • Salt & pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 F.
  2. Toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt and pepper.
  3. Arrange Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20 – 25 minutes, stirring occasionally until center becomes tender and edges become crisp and caramelized.
  5. Remove from oven. Set aside.
  6. Meanwhile, in a skillet, over medium high heat, add the butter.
  7. Once it melts, lower to medium and while stirring gently, continue heating until butter browns and becomes fragrant, about 4 minutes.
  8. Once the foam begins to dissipate, remove from heat.
  9. Drizzle browned butter over Brussels sprouts and serve immediately.
  10. Add more salt and pepper to taste.
