French Toast

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 8 thick slices of bread
  • Butter
  • Maple Syrup
  • Optional Toppings: Bananas & Fresh Berries

Instructions

  1. Beat eggs and cinnamon together.
  2. Pour mixture into a shallow bowl.
  3. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, allowing bread to soak up some of the mixture.
  4. Melt some butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Add as many slices of bread onto the skillet that will fit.
  6. Fry until both sides are golden-brown (flipping as necessary).
  7. Serve hot with butter, syrup, and if available, fresh fruit.
